A trip to the vet can be a good idea.
Cats vomit for a reason but they don't need much of a reason to do so.
Mine usually vomit because of hairballs. Laxative helps and so does brushing them a couple of times a week.
If they are outside cats poison is more likely than if they are inside cats. There are some house plants that are poisonous. Google any plants that you have inside.
P.S. Keep your cats indoors - they will stay healthier!

hard to say - since one is a cat and the other a kitten they should be on different foods otherwise I would say check the food for freshness...

if vomiting has been going on a while I would switch foods espeically if you are on a grocery store or wal mart type food - because these foods are low quality what they do is try to food people who dont know much about food - they put alot of fat into the food so the pet has a shiney coat - because the cats have to eat more of this food to get nutrition they eat more fat -fat is very hard on a cats tummy and vomiting is a common result

switch to a better quality food (one with chicken, turkey or lamb MEAL as first ingredient) all of the grocery store/wal mart ones use fillers like corn or by products (beaks feet snouts feathers) so with a better one - sure you pay more but you feed less and will have less poops and other problems

ok if not that - if the vomiting is more sudden you need to take them to a vet

If the vomiting still looks like the catfood was just eaten, it may be that the older cat pounced and started playing rough with the younger one or vice versa. My male cat does that all the time to my female younger one - justlike with humans, before doing any activity you need to be able to digest the food a little.

But if it is just bile, liquid, and no hairball - then take the cats immediatly to the vet!!!

When did you get the kitten and cat? For instance, I had a cat for a couple of years and then I decided to get a kitten. Upon the kitten's arrival, my cat began acting up and being pissy. She was hiding and... Throwing Up. The stress she excerted on my kitten also caused her to throw up. It could just be the stress of a new situation, but to be sure, you should take the cat and kitten to the vet and check with the licensed professional.

They could have a fur-ball, get some IAMS biscuits from your local supermarket, you can get ones for adult, not sure about kittens but they do all ranges of things in the IAMS products. Secondly they may need to be wormed, worms can wrap around the cat's intestines and make them very very poorly (even death) the weather may also be a part of it but take them to the vet or call your local vets for advice. Good luck

I even have one cat who vomits each and every few days. She has very advantageous medium length hair and looks to shed extra effective than the others. She grooms herself allot so she gets hairballs. i attempt to sweep her as usually as a possibility yet she isn't a human beings cat. I rescued her a pair of year and a nil.5 in the past. She is likewise one that would not chew her meals. i'm attempting to transform all of them over to canned meals. the less dry that she gets the less she vomits. that's quite helpful to objective the canned cat meals and brush her another day if she would be in a position to enable you. total products of meals shows no longer chewing and a wad furry mass shows fur balls. you ought to purchase a paste at maximum shops for hairballs. positioned it on the leg close to the paw. Press in down sufficient so he can't shake it off and he will lick it off helping him bypass the hairballs.

they are most likely to have worms- take them down to the vets asap. also, you should only give kittens "cat milk" as normal cow milk is too strong for their stomachs, this may be a reason why your kitten is vomiting.

Get them to a vet- like right this minute. They could have ingested poison, or household cleaner, or have sharp objects in the throat or even the intestines. This can be very serious indeed, as they will dehydrate very fast, and this could kill them. Good luck; take them NOW.

it could be due to the hot weather, and if their food has been left out uncovered flies will have been crawling just a thought it happened to mine, now i just put small amounts down and use small tins or pouches, if they leave any in their dishes i cover it up straight away with a small saucer, worth a try. But if your not sure it's always safer to take them to the vet..
