Male dogs don't go into heat. Once they reach sexual maturity, they're always ready, as it were.

To clarify: females come into estrus or heat NOT males. When a bitc h comes into heat it takes about a week before she is actually receptive. Until then she will tease the male and if she were in the wild, would be looking for a male that she found suitable.

Don't breed your dogs if you are thinking about it. There's plenty of dogs being killed each year because of overpopulation. The only dogs that should be allowed to breed are champion show dogs.

males r always ready to breed but it is the female dog which goes on heat.

We'll let you know the day a male dog ever goes into heat. But they don't. Female dogs go into heat.

As with humans males do not have heats . It is a female thing . When a female dog is in heat depending on what stage she is in she will be receptive. But just to reiterate male dogs don't have heats ,their just always horny like men are.

Just because a human male wants some will the female let him. The same rule applies to dogs. Woman have half the money and all the fun stuff.

only the female goes into heat, all males are always in heat and ready to breed isn't that the way it goes?

males dont go into heat, females do. when a female goes into heat, it usually takes a few days for he to let the male mate with her.
