Dog people like dogs, and cat people like cats.

Dogs are dependent, obedient, and energetic. Cats are independent, and usually sleep a lot, but can be as wonderful as companions as dogs are.

The difference between a dog and cat person is simply which animal they prefer. It says little about the rest of their personality, although generalizations are often made.

I'm both! But I had cats first because they take less time and energy. Now that I have a dog, I am much more active. As a dog owner, I notice myself becoming a neat freak because I don't want things chewed up, and my schedule is worked around the dog's potty times. It's worth it when she sits with her head on my foot as I type! And when she does cute tricks, even though my cats know some tricks, they don't always feel like performing them.

Dog people like to be active and busy, Cat people like to relax and have peace and quiet! I am a cat person, and a dog person. It is mainly a personality thing.
But I actually prefure big dogs over little rat dogs, and fat lazy fluffy cats over the sleak looking ones that run around and claw furniture.

i do no longer particularly consider that. i'm greater independant, no longer so skeptical although, and that i'm no longer prepared on cats in any respect. each from time to time i will cuddle with a lovable little kitten, yet that finished "cat" character throws me off slightly. i'd somewhat have a canine, than an animal that only needs to be afflicted with while HE needs interest.
