Pets - 26 July 2006

I found out all the permits and stuff like that, but all i need to do is get a building, i have animals coming to me left and right already, i will not just leave them alone, i will treat them as pets untill someone adopts them, but where and how can i find a building of such size, in such short notice?
how can i raise enough money to buy this building?

My mom wants to get a cat declawed but i dont want her too!!!I think its so cuerl!Its like removing ur teeth or ur fingernails. I've been telling her that,and even went out and bought soft paws to show her that not to declaw it!I even did research on it and showing her thats it inhumane >.>?
What should i do?

He is a 2ft long Lavender albino king snake. I opened his top to give him water and to replenish his air turned on his light and went to school. when i came back today he was gone. i did close his lid before i left but it was loose..

My cat had 5 baby kittens 3 days ago. How long do I need to wait until I can pet or hold the kittens? The mom is a very friendly cat and is very used to our smell. Also we have a male cat who is fixed and is not the father - how long do we need to keep him seperated from the mother cat and kittens? Thanks for any advice.

implanted inside by his shoulder blade. I know that it's like a shot when they put one in, and it has a number and the owners personal information with that particular number. but I was just wandering, how does all of this work? what's the microchip look like (if it looks like anything). I think that this is really neat for my kitten to have. I was just curious on how it stays inside him though and stuff like that. any suggestions? thanx!

I'm house-sitting for a friend and with the job comes entertaining a parrot and a cockatiel (among other animals). The parrot is a jerk and tries to bite me when I go to pet him so I left him in his cage. Te cockatiel is real sweet though so I let him out and he is currently in my lap.

I've never had birds like these before (I had finches when I was 6 but I hardly remember that and we never took them out of the cage). How do you pet them? I've been ruffling Oberon's feathers underneath the wings and I guess he likes it (I take this cue from him not biting me).

Is that how you do it or do you do something else?

My husband has a tarantula & I held it - it brushed some Urticating hairs (the hairs that are meant to drive away predators) onto my hands & now they itch so bad they are going to drive me insane!!!
PLEASE help & don't tell me to get rid of the spider or make fun of me!!
