Yo can buy snake traps, put it in a corner with a warm water bottle or some kind of heat source and wait overnight. It will help to turn your air conditioner up.

As people have said already, he will be looking for warmth. You may want to try turning off lights and other heat sources in the house and putting a heat lamp aimed at a rock or something on the floor so that he will come to that spot for the warmth.

As long as you didn't have a door left wide open he must still be in there somewhere. Snakes have a habit of hiding after they've escaped- check in all the nooks and crannies and make sure you don't step on the poor l'il guy.

LOOK IN WARM PLACES LIKE AROUND THE DRYER OR THE STOVE I FOUND MINE ONCE AT THE BACK OF MY CLOSET IN THE CORNER ONCE LAYING ON THE FOUNDATION BOARD UNDER THE HOUSE AND ONCE JUST LAYING ACROSS THE DRIVE WAY. THE NEXT TIME AFTER THAT HE WAS LOST. GOOD LUCK

Look in a warm spot. If it's cold in your house, he didn't go far.
