I love labrador retrievers!!! I have a yellow lab and a chocalate lab. I've owned german sheperd's and once had a dalmation and the labs have the best temperment around children. I think they are the best all around dog for a family. But any dog can be a great dog in the right enviroment and home!

You cant go past the Italian Greyhound...If you like the look of greyhounds or whippets but want a small dog its perfect..My name is Lennydog named after an Italian Greyhound that says it all.

Mine would have to be a toss up between a Rottweiler or a Siberian Husky. They are both great loving gentle giants!!
I hope to get a great Pyrenees or a bull mastiffs(sp)!! More great gentle Giants!!
