I have a cat Oscar and when I offered her a ball of string and a toy mouse she didn't seem to bother much but when I was changing she attacked my belt and since then whenever she sees a belt, she'd play with it, before she attacked my sock when I was tidying, and when I was watching TV Oscar was making a racket upstairs and when I went up there she'd somehow managed to wrap herself in a bundle of toilet roll! Since then they've been all she plays with! Now, I've never had a cat that weird before!

What are the chances that my new kitten is going to be deaf. Im going to buy a turkish angora. I seem to like blue eyes more, but if i have to ill choose a cat wit a diffrent eye color. Anywayz, whats the risk. SHould i take my chances and get a white cat with blue eyes, or should i get a white cat wit green or brown eyez. I dont like cross eyed? Please Help... 10 pts for the best.

I have a Golden Retriver and I used this site last time when I need to know how to make a dog roll over. Every comment helped and now my dog is rolling over everytime I say "roll over"! So Please help me again. I need to know how to teach a dog to roll over. Thanks a Million! :)

i'm thinking of getting a hamster. the problem is i have a little dog(rat terrier) he's really small. his barks alot though. and i read that hamsters can get scared to death by dogs and cats. if thats true. should i get a hampter with the dog around.

My groomer says that before she will groom my toy poodle again I will have to get her sedatives. The groomer says that the dog is so small and sensitive about anybody touching her legs and feet that she is afraid the dog will hurt herself or even break a leg by pulling so hard when they groom her legs. I was told by a neighbor that her vet said to give her dog benadryl on fourth of july because he is so scared of fireworks. Could I just use benadryl since I really can't afford to go to the vets for such an issue or is there any other household remedies?

my dog is 9.5 yrs old and being treated with Phenobarbital and Valium when having a seizure. The siezures have been 4-8 a day for 5 days straight. The dog was hospitilized one night for a temp of 105.

This is actually not a question. It's just something I've noticed. Our homo sapien way of having sex is somewhat the same as animals mating. Many guys out there just sell themselves either online or by newspaper, and just have sex with girls. Then after that, the guys abandon the girls by not facing the consequenses that the girl they slept with will become pregnant. Many animals out there such as cheetahs, leopards, etc...do the exact same thing. The only difference between our sex is that it's kissing and massaging private areas. Plus, not many animals out there can have a relationship with their opposite sex (unless it's their children that need motherly love) and they can't be called gay or lesbien. And I also forgot to mention that animals can't mate with their own children, litter, etc... Also, what about the diseases that we could get when we have sex? Animals don't have to worry about that. They just mate, and they're done.

A female cat moved in on us and we found out she was pregnant.
She had her kittens and was still nursing. Was told we had to wait until she was through nursing before spaying her. Guess what? She was already pregnant when we took her into the vet and the kittens were only 8 wks.

My last bird, a light blue parakeet died 2 months ago while I was on vacation (someone else was watching it). I've missed having a bird around and want to get another. What type of bird should I get? I already have a cage that is 18' x 18' x 18' and the bird can't cost more than 50 dollars. I want a bird that I can interact with. What type should I get and where can I find it.

P.S. I live in Virginia.

i'll eat yummy food and then blow it gently in his face. he licks his snout when i do that. my husbant think it's mean cause i'm enticing him but won't give him any. but i don't give him human food for his own benefit. he only eats dry yorkie food. is it still mean though?

I used to own a golden retriever and THEY are on the f*cking list for the breed specific legislation that was passed.

WTF?
Golden Retrievers along with MANY other breeds on that list...are the SWEETEST animals to walk the earth.

All dogs can be taught to be good, with the correct owners.

it's the OWNERS fault if something goes wrong ... NOT THE ENTIRE BREED!

ugh. I'm sick to my stomach over this right now
