Here is a link to a PDF file I found that speaks of the toxicity levels. There is no problem with what your dog ingested from what I read in the PDF document.

DEET can be deadly! It all depends on the amount that the dog ingested. Just to be on the safe side, call a vet....even an emergency clinic for dogs. Have it checked out ASAP. None of us are veteranarians on here and cannot truly answer your question. Only a vet would know what to do. "Better safe than sorry"

When my poodle ingests something that I am completely worried about I have her take a little swig of peroxide. Just a little will get a dog to vomit up whatever is in their stomach. I have done this twice. both times she vomited up the contents.

Not harmful enough to hurt at that amount. Thats why they use deet and not more powerful toxens, people get it in there mouth. Your dog will be fine.

My dog has done that before and was just fine. I think it will be okay so long as the dog seems okay. If you notice any thing different about your dogs behavior, take the animal to the vet immediately.

Unless it was toxic, she should be fine. I really have no idea what deet is. Get a vets opinion if your not sure.

In that amount, you're probably ok - but don't let it happen again! If she drank it out of the bottle, she could be in deep trouble. Call your vet or poison control.
