Pugs are not aggressive dogs, by nature. However if you don't know the heredity, is it a purebred? Then, you may have some mix in there that is going to have it be aggressive. Also, it is also in how you are raising it. We have a pug and if it was up to him, he'd be the one who runs the house, and everybody in it!!!LOL However, we have learned about obedience training(which you might want to try)and also have 5 other dogs that don't let him be "the only one"!!! He is absolutely adorable though, just the look on his face and when we take him out and meets other people? He is so friendly, he is so comical! Ya gotta love him!!! I would recommend taking your pug to obedience training! It really works. Good luck! ENJOY!

Older pugs are not the best around kids so get a puppy and train and than they are not but a older one like 5 or six can be agressive around kids.

Yeah, you could believe the "it is the owner no longer the dogs" bull_s_h_i_t all you go with yet in factor of shown actuality that over 70% of a dogs's temperament has to do with its genetic makeup. Pitbulls are genetic blunders and the breed must be estinguished off the face of this planet. I surely have a dogs... (section lab), what percentage youthful ones have you ever heard being mauled by using a yellow lab? few if any. all sorts of folk own labs and under no circumstances each man or woman trains them accurate, yet they're only no longer as probably to opt to kill. I surely have 3 youthful ones who love animals, my daughter loves dogs. If i discover any pitbulls operating free around the community, bullets vacation swifter than pitbulls can run. i'm no longer going to maintain my newborn in a cage because some ****_brained fool thinks pitbulls are beautiful and secure and shall we them run round. i'm no longer going to attend till my youngster is lifeless or disfigured for existence... NO that isn't any longer going to ensue if i visit help it.

They are amazing pets. The best way to describe them is a big dog personality in a small body. They are playful and friendly. The puppy stage can be difficult as they are extremely hyper, but they are worth the early struggle.
