i was walking on my block and this nice chihuahua with no collar was wandering a round. i called it it cam to me so i took it home and like 2 weeks later he had a siezure. then it would happen every month now it hasnt happened in a while but still want to know a cure and if you look at his stomach it look like they diid surgerey on him.

He is a golden retriever/ chocolate lab mix. we got him when he was ten weeks old. we feed him the right amount of food and everything, but he won't gain weight. he does not have worms...or any other diseases that we know of. we always thought he just had a fast metabolism. plz help!! he acts like a normal puppy though.

I have a six-week-old kitten who is full of energy. She's constantly climbing the sofa, playing with the dog, hiding in things and jumping after my feet to try and nibble and scratch me. I'm going to go out tomorrow and buy her a toy/scratching post/play center for her to play in, but I'm not sure what the best thing is to buy. Any ideas? Would she better enjoy one of those scratching posts that have the holes in it for her to hide, or are they generally a waste of money? What can I definitely not go wrong with buying for her?

My neighbors constantly let their cats roam free. They pick up fleas, then sit by my door kicking the fleas off, which wind up in my house, on my cats. Isnt their some kind of laws that say its illegal to let your animals run free? Should I just call animal control and have them picked up. I would hate to do this, because most would be put to sleep, and the fault isnt theirs, but their owners.

He's a lab and husky mix, and he's always been a worrier. Loses his mind when someone's at the door. His face has turned white (grey hair from stress?) even though he's only about 7 years old. And that started a couple of years ago. He's got a serious problem with being anything other than the alpha dog. From the time he was 6 weeks old, he's been ready take on any dog that crosses his path - from a Dachshund pup to a full-size Rottweiler. Fur on end, snarling at the end of the leash... And this is at puppy kindergarten! He was the "bad dog" they used each time for the example. What is the DEAL?? Is it normal for a dog to be so "alpha" right from the get-go? His little hormones hadn't even kicked in yet. Thoughts?

Im not getting many answers for my other queations about my dog.
So plze answer my question!
my dog bites for no reason.
Thinks im playing when i spank her! ( its more like a pat than a hard spank)
Bites me when im sleeping. Wants me to wake up so she can play more.
Shes 5 months old.! and she is driving me crazy!
SHE barks when i dont throw her chew toy.
She hates when im trying to do my homework and all my important stuff.
She wants so much attention! And my life is hers!
She thinks shes the queen of the world!
What do i do to train her to stop bitng and barking and peeing and pooping and just anooying me?

I got them at the local pet shop, and the woman there acted like she didn't know what she was doing. I have two males one ismore social then the other. I can't seem to get JeJew the scared one to even come near me i have gotten Zeus to come near me and he seems to be worming up just a little more towards me. ANY advice u can offer i would apperciate it!

I'm trying to decide if I should start a saltwater aquarium (I just asked a question about it), but I was thinking there are a lot of amazing freshwater fish too, so maybe saltwater isn't worth the trouble.....for me. (As I don't want to have to spend too much time taking care of the tank, because I have college, work, etc.)

So, I was thinking cichlids, because I hear a lot about those. It seems like a lot of people have them. But I was wondering, besides cichlids, are there any other big, nice looking freshwater fish that would be good for freshwater? I say big because I have a tank with medium-small fish, but I would like a tank of really large fish to look at. And I'm also not sure of cichlids because I don't think you can mix them, and I'd like some variety? Any suggestions for nice big freshwater fish that can be mixed? (I'd like an eel too.)

I don't understand why it is that people think its fine and dandy to abuse animals. They don't ask for much. They are here to love us, and people show them nothing. They neglect them, and hurt them. Does anyone else find this not right? I don't understand, perhaps someone can explain it to Me.

how do u get a kitten 2 QUIT clawing on u or bitting u ???? they have some very sharp claws n also he does plays with the dogs as well n im thinkin he will scar up my dogs it really hurts when he claws up my legs n bites any suggestions ???
