If it has no shots? You're looking at anywhere between 100 and 200 dollars. Depending on the vet. Depending on where you get this kitten, it could very easily have worms, and will have to be dewormed. Your kitten may also have ear mites and there will be medicine for that. My kitten cost me 185 dollars total for all her vaccines, ear mites medicine and eye infection medicine. Call around to every vet to get prices. But don't choose based on the cheapest. Choose based on who you think will do the best job. I've gone to the cheap vets and been disappointed and scared for my cat.

My cat Milo cost me $50 for adoption from a local shelter. He required a few hundred dollars' worth of shots and parasite removal. The cost of a cat is not what you pay outright, but the accumulated costs in food, litter, toys and veterinary care over its lifetime.

You shouldn't have to buy it. There are a lot of people that just give their kittens away for free. Look in the newspaper under the classifieds.

It really just depends you could probablly find one somewhere in your area that someone is trying to get rid of for FREE or there might even be a local shelter in your area that the adoption could be as low as $10.

If you really want a cat be confident and wait and soon you'll find one. the tradition says that cats are special animals and they choose their master by themselves. I'm not saying that a cat is going to knock at your door, but in a way or another you will find one if you really want.
