As I was driving home tonight, I found a small black and white kitten on the side of the road. I love animals, so I took her in and have been helping her ever since. Her eyes are goopy and she's a little dirty, but I've cleaned her up the best I can. She's sleeping on a pet bed wrapped in some fluffy towels. Is there anything else I can do besides take her to the vet in the morning? What's the best thing to do.. should I keep her with the towels around her (loosely) or should she be exposed to air? Are there any other methods for cleaning her that I should take? What about food and water.. what's the best thing to do? She's old enough to walk a little clumsy and can cry and hiss, so I'm assuming she's at least a week or two old.

My leg hurt after he rammed into it, so I can assume it hurt him. Right after we collided he was breathing heavily for a few secs, then sneezed. THen he seemed okay aside from being scared. Now I am watching him every second... we checked his pupils they seem fine, and checked his capillary response... also fine. He does seem a little lethargic though. Do you think he just is a little scared and maybe a headache, or something more. Thanks so much!

I want a dog, but live in a smaller home with a small yard area. I would prefer to get a large lab, but hate to do that to a big dog. What is a good dog for a smaller space that doesn't yip a lot and is known for being nice.

I use to have a doxin and she had six puppys I kept 2 and then 9 mths later she got hit bye a car. Her puppys use to be happy and jumping around now there sad and me to will we ever get over it?

because it seems like alot of folks on here dont, or are people just too damn cheap? i am sooooo sick of people posting questions like "omg my dog won't stop throwing up! what should i do?" you effing idiot, take it to the vet!!! and then they say "oh but i can't afford that!" well ya know what??.....you shouldn't even be a pet owner then!!! people who buy/rescue/or whatever need to realize that just like humans, pets get sick too and if you can not afford vet care then you should NOT be a pet owner!!!!

its all a matter on how people raise the pits up. I have a pit bull whos name is angel and she is the biggest baby ever she is the sweetest dog i have ever seen seen. And for another reason to say my dad has been around pit bulls his whole life and has never been bitten by one or attacked but hes been bitten and attacked by minicher pincher,s cocker spaniels, labs, chiuwahwahs and alot more but NEVER EVER by a pitbull.

Please help i'm trying to find a way to get rid of my flea problem. The kittens are only a month and half old. I've been using lemon dish detergent for bath because i know that fleas do not like lemon and it won't harm the kittens. But the mother is another issue, she's really hard to give a bath and i can't find anything to use on her because shes still feeding them....PLEASE HELP!!!! any suggest greatly appriciated THANK YOU!!!!

this jsut happend she was acting as if she was in heat...and as i was petting her i noticed my shirt was wet...it came from her and it SMELLED real bad! what could this mean?

she started throwing up last night and today is the same. its not like vomit its more like white flym. she goes out of the dog door all the time so I dont know if she got into something out there. there is a fern like weed that sometimes grows along my fence and my neighbors dog (only 4 years old) died about a week ago from kidney failure. I dont know if that is the plant that is causing this illness but I have seen her eat it from time to time. If the spitting doesnt stop I will take her to the vet on saturday but have any of you had this kind of problem before? what should I do for her in the mean time?

I was told you shouldnt give a dog a name that starts with a "S" as it confuses them. The sound is too close to "sit', "stay", "stop", etc. I know there are lots of dogs with "S" names, but has anyone experienced that problem?
