I love animals and would like to have a career involving them. I do not want to be a vet. My question is, what are some other decent paying jobs with animals? I'd prefer to work with mammals. I am getting a business degree but would be willing to take coursework in animal care.

I set a minnow trap in our pond, and if I catch some by morning, I plan to keep 2 or 3. I already have a bowl, two small plastic plants, and some goldfish food. Do they even eat goldfish food? Please help!

Hey everyone- I got my mom to look into a lease to buy! Now I need ideas on how to lower my boarding payments. I want to keep a horse at this one farm, but board is $425 a month! Mom said that if I can minimize the boarding payments, then I can get a horse! I said I would be able to pay for vet and farrier- which I can do. As I said in my other post, I have lots of horse experience- riding, training, and care. I have proven to my parents that I am responsible enough to own my own horse, which is why they are looking to get me one. So does anyone have any advice on how to lower monthly board payments? they preform a sevice like waiters, hair&nail dressers, even grocery sackers!!! but our "clients" bite,pull,fight us tooth and nail, their is probably is like 1/2 of 1% of dogs that get groomed that behave well. i'm just real curious why? the groomers i know love animals and their jobs but we work hard and really appreciate tips, :)

I tried to save it by putting my cat inside and getting a wash cloth to pick it up but by the time i got back outside, my cat already had gotten it. I have cried the past 3 days and don't know what to do to get over it.

Why does my dog consistently roll around on his back and make strange noises? Simply because it feels good or something else? He just started doing it a lot more often recently. He has a clean checkup at the vet, is bathed once a month or so.

I recently adopted a one year old dog from a pound. He is a very loving boy and wouldn't harm a fly. My problem with him is that he has a submissive urination problem. Whenever he thinks he is in trouble (even when he doesn't do anything) he cowers down and pees. I don't allow him on my bed anymore because he pees on it everytime we come in the room and find him up there. I've never banned him from the bed before because our other dog gets up there.
I don't know what happened to him with his last owner, but I would guess by his behavior that it was not a pleasant experience.
If anyone knows what I can do to help him with his problem, without putting him on meds, I would appreciate any feedback.

My cat has been vets and had two injections, one to reduce swelling and one antibotic plus one weeks course, but he keeps opening the wound on his neck, (was just a small scatch to begin with/cat fight). I put plasters to stop him scratching it, but they sometimes come off! I know some of our medical stuff can't be used on animals and wondered if Sodocream is OK Or anything else someone can suggest I would really appricate, Thanks
