there exists 50 birds on the branches of a tree, then if I shot one of them with a gun , how many birds remain on the tree?

There would be none. The other 49 would have fled due to the sound of the gun and the bird you shot would be on the ground, dead.

There wouldn't be any left. The sound of the gun shot would scare the other 49 away.

All of them...they are interplanetary, super birds. They are equipped with bullet-proof, titanium feathering and the one bird you thought was dead was actually sending a signal to its homeplanet to tell them to poison earth's water supply.
So put those buckshots back and start going to the grocery store.

First of all, you wouldn't be able to shoot any of them. At the sight of you they will all fly away. (but before that they will poop on your head)
