Depends on whether its a female or male cat ... it costs more to get a female fixed because it's a more involved surgery
We have a low-cost spay and neuter clinic at our shelter, and I think that for our male cat it would have cost us $35 ... we ended up going to the vet to have it done & I think it was somewhere around $100

It depends on the vet you go to and the area you live in. I've had 4 cats spayed and it usually costs between $85-$100.

I have a Male cat and it costed me about 40 dollars. It's worth it cause male cats spray and it stopped that! The other good thing is he will not drive you nuts to go outside.

At a vet it generally costs approx 200 or more due to fee for visit, fee for exam, fee for all shots and being up to date, and of course fee to perform the surgery. There are, however, places out there that can assist you with lowering the payment just call an animal shelter or animal control and they should be able to direct you (hopefully) to the nearest shelter and helping hands in your area. Good luck!

Check with your local humaine society, or other cat rescue organization. Also, check with the local pet stores like Petco, or Pet Smart. They sometimes have days when you can bring your pets in and get them fixed, or treated by a vet, for half the price

Depends on the vet. One vet quoted me 100 bucks. The other vet was only about 50. My best advice, no matter what the price, go to the vet that feels right.

Male cats are cheaper, but if you get your kitten from a shelter, they normally include it in the price of purchasing the animal.

That would depend on whats broke on it. (Bettcha didn't see that comeing.)
Seriously, check with a local vet school. Sometimes they run clinics and offer services at reduced a cost.
