Well they can have vomiting, diarrhea,lethargy,failure to eat, and many neurological signs...ditated pupils,staggering,head tilt,termors...the list goes on and on. It depends on the poision in the collar. There are drugs to treat the poisioning, you should get to a vet if there are symptoms.

And do not use flea collars!!!! They DO NOT work and are often toxic to the cats and people around them!!!!!!

Flea collars are totally useless, was told to me by a vet years ago, so get it off the kitten. Flea collars are poision. Take the kitten into the vet if it appears sick.

Kittens shouldn't wear flea collars until they are of a certain age, even then if it doesn't agree with them they can show all kinds of signs...lethargy, no appetite etc.. take it off immediately..give him a warm bath to get a residue of the collar off of him and wrap him up in a towel that you just pulled from the dryer (to keep him warm) and call your vet in case he ingested any of the ingredients through cleaning itself.

choking and throwing up. Apply Advantage or any flea treatment applied topically for baby cats.
