I use to have a doxin and she had six puppys I kept 2 and then 9 mths later she got hit bye a car. Her puppys use to be happy and jumping around now there sad and me to will we ever get over it?

Yes, they will. Dogs have a very short memory and attention span. It should only take 2-4 wks before they are back to normal.

I suggest getting and older dachshund to replace the place of the mother dog. I'm really sorry that you and your puppies do not feel happy.

yes but it will take time... you must of been real close to your dogs..sorry though that you all are not happy.. you need to find a way to play more with them and do all you can to bring happiness back into your household.....
