males have fatter and bigger tails than females
males have a flat or concave bottom shell so it will fit better on top of the female, and females have either flat or convex bottom shell so there is more space for eggs
male turtles grow long claws on their front legs
it is basically impossible to tell the sex of a baby turtle

Be able to speak "turtle" and simply ask them if they are a boy or girl. They will probably answer you at a snail's pace.

Some have specific markings to distinguish them – however most use physical size and the length of the tail to tell.

look at the bottom shell.a males bottom shell has an indentation, the females bottom shell is less concave, or it is flatter.

males have much longer finger nails than the females....they also have fatter tails....yeah thats all i know but it should be pretty accurate.
