Well, Woodchucks can chuck around 35 cubic feet of dirt in the course of digging a burrow. So in reason if a woodchuck could chuck 35 cubic feet of dirt he could chuck an equivalence of 700 pounds of wood. In a more logical sense I believe that if the woodchuck chucked the amount of wood that she sells seashells on the seashore divided by how many pickles Peter Piper picks would give us the true answer.

About 50 lbs. For the longest time, there was no answer to this question. Me and a few other play Dungeons ans Dragons and had to come up with an answer. So we just figured 50 lbs. more specifically 50lb per turn for d4 turns/lvl of wood chuck - 2 turns/lv if drunk (seen the "How much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood while drunk?" question)

The answer to this age old question has perplexed people for eons.

Part of the reason the question is so difficult to answer is that the amount of wood that woodchucks would chuck on a given day varies greatly with the seasons and with the metabolisms of any individual woodchuck.

Modern internet technology has advanced to the point that we can reliably monitor the amount a woodchuck chucks in real time.

The results of this monitoring are shown in the link below. Please note that the numbers vary due to the dispositions of the woodchucks involved.
