this jsut happend she was acting as if she was in heat...and as i was petting her i noticed my shirt was wet...it came from her and it SMELLED real bad! what could this mean?

It means you should take your cat to the vet. If you think she is pregnant, you should have this confirmed by a vet. If she is, then he will help you get ready for the kittens. If she isn't, then you need to set up an appointment to get her fixed ASAP. With 3-5 million animals dying in shelters each year, there's no reason to let your cat get pregnant - not when many shelters offer free or reduced rate spaying.

I used to have a cat that did that when she went in heat. I asked my vet about it and he laughed and told me to not handle her so much during her heat. They are very excitable during that time. He advised me to fix her if I didn't plan on breeding her, if I chose not to she would continue to do it and it wouldn't always be on my shirt or arm. So instead of replacing my furniture I chose to spay my girl!! Good luck to you! The first time my cat did that to me I had a house full of company!! lol Imagine my embarrassment!!!! One thing I didn't mention is if she is preg. and due any day now you would be able to feel her babies if you feel around under her belly, look at her teats too if they are swollen and possibly leaky then she is most likely pregnant!!

If she is really pregnant and due any day, you will be able to feel and even see the kitties moving inside her. Put your hand gently on her tummy. Kittens are born usually within 12 hours of the liquid starting to come out.
If the liquid smelled like strong urine, she is in heat. Take her to the vet ASAP.

Is she fat and craving pickles and ice cream?? lol. i mean she may be, feel her belly and check for the kitties in her, it will feel like kicking and rolling around...hope she is okay i have never heard of the smelly liquid before.

if she has gained weight ( no pregnant cat can stay skinny)
if just the smell maybe she peed on your shirt
