I usually arrange about 15 medium vases and 5 large vases per week. I want the wholesale price, because I'll be a regular customer, without the huge quantity. I'm a one-lady charity service (I give the flowers away to sick & forgotten). I live in Dallas, though I'd love to order over the internet...I order my supplies that way...

I have feather down pillows, which causes feathers to fly everywhere! Is there something I can do to control the feathers? Besides the obvious, cotton pillows. I love the down pillows, they were a wedding gift to us. I just want to control the feathers instead of them controling the house. They are EVERYWHERE! I take the pillow cases off and the feathers fly around like a whirlwind! Thanks!

my wife and i are moving to a new area that is pretty hot in the summer and mild in the winter in california. we are debating on if we should look for a house with a pool in the back yard or a place with a community pool. what are the pros and cons of both and which would you go with? i am thinking that if it was a community pool we would not use it as much but how often does one really use one in the back yard. is it worth it to have your own? we dont have kids and we dont do much entertainng. thanks!

it is showing the worst on the grooves that make up the natural imperfections in the wood. it almost looks like soap scum.

It is equal over all the cabinets; It is not just near the stove.

My two orchids have new growth. Is it time to repot? If so, do I use the same size pot or go a size bigger? I am very excited about this as I have tried unsuccessfully for years to care for orchids. Hoping to get some expert advice!

I live in the city and have had enough of living like a prisoner in my own home. My kids cant play in the front yard and we barely have a back yard. I want to live where you can still leave your doors unlocked and your windows open and leave the keys in the ignition of your car like when i was a kid. I dont think there is such a place anymore but maybe someone can tell me there is!

I have a Noritake tea set that is really old that has been in my family and no one knows anything about the pattern. I have went to the web site replacements.com and cant seem to find this pattern. I have narrowed the years down to 1921-1952...i think. The stamp has the "M" "handpainted" and "Made in Japan". It is a light green colored. The set design is a white base, with cream backround, gold flower design (it isnt too heavy/thick). an anyone please help me with any information? Even a closer range of years would help. Thank you

I'd like to know complicated things and simple solutions that you've personally used many times to great avail.

For me- this one comes from my dad, who restores antiques. If a wood screw comes loose and its hole is stripped, cut the heads off of one or two matchsticks, stuff them in the hole, and screw in the screw. No glue needed. I've found that the mini books, like what you get from hotels and whatnot, are the easiest to screw into and usually hold well.

So, what's your home cure or fix?

i just moved in a new place and everything seemed nice till i saw a giant bug in my sink. it wasn't a roach because it was too fancy and had long antennas. but later that night something small and disgusting ran away from me and i saw it, it was a ROACH. how do i get rid of it? i know that roaches can survive radiation and they will probably take over the world someday. but today, how do i kill sth that is too fast to just stomp and can survive 9 days without its head? how do i kill it? pls i'm desperate.

It started happening during the summer of this year. There are these little flies that hover around my room and I dont know where they are coming from! I havent had fruit or food in my room in months, so I know thats not whats causing them. I also seem to notice them when Im sitting around my computer, they always fly around it.

:\ Whenever I kill one, its like another one appears an hour later. Theyre annoying me! What the heck are they and why wont they go away? :((

We have seemingly zillions of spiders on the side of our house around our door and then on our garage. While I know they have merit as bug eaters and such, they are also moving into our porch, which is too close for comfort. We have a one-year-old, and I'm concerned about spider bites. She's sensitive to bug bites as it is.

If anyone knows of a good natural repellant for spiders, please let me know. Otherwise, if there are any other repellants that work, I'd like to know about those, too, as a last resort. A shoe seems to work, but I'm way out-numbered. LOL

Yes, I was able to tear myself away from polls and surveys long enough to start fall house cleaning. I have been scrubbing with detergent and a tooth brush to no avail. I know these little buggers can really make you sick so I really want to get them off! Thanks in advance if you have anything to offer.

When you get word that last-minute guests are on their way to your home, you can probably think of a dozen or more things you need to do: fix your appearance, clean your home, prepare food and drinks. What do you think is the most important thing to do before visitors arrive to make them feel welcome?

Hi everyone, I'm hopeless at gardening & looking after plants, but would really like to grow my own tomato plants..after eating some pretty tasteless ones bought from the supermarket today. Please can you advise when the seeds need to be planted.. is it possible to use the seeds from tomatos or do I need to buy seeds in a packet. We have a conservatory and I was thinking this might be a good place to grow them?? Thank you.

My husband's birthday is coming and he's been always wanting a gun nailer. We already have a compressor so a gun-nailer compressor compatible will be ok.

Can you tell me what brand I should pick?
What are the things I need to check before buying one?
