I usually arrange about 15 medium vases and 5 large vases per week. I want the wholesale price, because I'll be a regular customer, without the huge quantity. I'm a one-lady charity service (I give the flowers away to sick & forgotten). I live in Dallas, though I'd love to order over the internet...I order my supplies that way...

I have local grocery stores where I can buy beautiful flowers. But with the amount that I use every week, I need a price cut.

Wow. what a terrific thing you are doing. I would try Cos co or Sam's Club and Greenhouses. If you do bulk buying, I don't see why they wouldn't work on the price for you. Tell them you are doing it for charity too! Good luck!

Go to the grocery store at night. They usually discount the flowers in the evenings...also ask them when they get rid of the flowers (there might be one night a week). You might be able to pick them up free! And they will still be in decent shape.

I know it's not over the internet, but hey! if you want cheap stuff...

EDIT: Ok, you confuse me. Your question says "just a few flowers" and "without the huge quantity". Anyway, it's nice that you are giving the flowers as charitable donations. Good job.

the cheapest i know is food basics/ no frills etc.

well u can talk to the manager of the store. because these people take off the flowers after 2 to 3 days though the flowers look fresh.
u can talk to the manager so that he will sell u for cheaper price instead of throwing them in garbage.
he might understand ur social cause

Over the internet...I'm not sure. Here in CT you can go in most grocery stores to get flowers that you can arrange yourself.

Go to a local florist and ask them their suppliers name! If the first one doesn't give you the name. ask others.
