It depends on when you're playing the loud music and how much it bugs your neighbors. It's called being considerate and there are usually noise ordinances with specific hours when noise has to be kept down.

You live in a tight community as a human. Living in a tight community requires that you and everyone must compromise a Little. Being human means that you should have some sort of dedicate that your parents obviously failed to teach you. Imagine it everyone did whatever they wanted. The place would be destroyed and it would be a terrible place to live.

When I lived in an apartment I caught a drunk guy pissing in the hall. Hmmm he had the same attitude 'whats the big deal' that wasn't you was it!! When he left his nose was also bleeding. weird LOL

Because you like loud music does not mean anyone else should have to be disturbed by your annoying desire. Especially when there are other choices like headphones.

Loud music during the daytime should be acceptable to a certain extent, providing it is not vibrating peoples belongings off of shelves etc (like i do sometimes LoL)

You have to consider those around you, people work nights and sleep during the day others have young babies that need to sleep during the day also.

I had a neighbour that played loud music from 5am every morning which was so annoying - i retaliated by putting a speaker up to my ceiling below their bed and returned the favour at 1 - 2 am every night until they complained and realised how annoying it is.

It disturbs the peace and is against the rules in apartment complexes and often against the law after 9:00 pm.

If you want to play loud music you will have to wait until after your lease is up and find a house....preferably with neighbors that are not within hearing distance.
Sorry!

Sometimes neighbours have absolutely no consideration.
I was playing my music quite loudly at 3 in the morning the other day, the foundations were shaking. The bloody busybody neighbour only knocked on the window and totally spoiled my enjoyment by asking me in a very loud voice to turn it down..in no uncertain terms.
Then he notice my pet Wildebeest, Claude, through the window and complained to the council about it being a health hazard!! Inconsiderate fool!!

The elephant would probably be more quiet....it's called respecting your neighbors -- you couldn't figure that out? You wouldn't want to be sitting there enjoying your life -- maybe watching TV and not be able to even hear your own TV over someone else's music (which, by the way, usually just sound like bass only) - treat those around you the way you want to be treated....

Yeah, that's a tough one.
The hardest part is having compassion for the needs of one's neighbors. My neighbors forget that my daughter and I retire and rise early... we show compassion by not saying anything about the after-hours music (between 11pm - 3am) since they're pretty wonderful neighbors overall. How long should we keep giving this gift? We've lived here 2 years and have never asked them to get a clue.

loud music is just as bad as having an elephant in your apt,
ever hear of being considerate of others ? I have a hearing problem and loud noises or Low noises cause me pain, so keep it down or get a set of ear phones then you can ruin your own hearing,

My brother in-law went to jail for loud music.

It wasn't his music, it was the neighbors. The neighbor kept waking up my brother in-laws baby, with loud music late at night.

The neighbor wouldn't listen to Frank's requests to tone down the music, so Frank drove him in the ground like a tent stake.

Hence, he went to jail.

The neighbor did however keep the noise down after that.

There is a cool invention known as "headphones" that will let you listen to your music as loud as you want without disturbing your neighbors.
