i just moved in a new place and everything seemed nice till i saw a giant bug in my sink. it wasn't a roach because it was too fancy and had long antennas. but later that night something small and disgusting ran away from me and i saw it, it was a ROACH. how do i get rid of it? i know that roaches can survive radiation and they will probably take over the world someday. but today, how do i kill sth that is too fast to just stomp and can survive 9 days without its head? how do i kill it? pls i'm desperate.

Get a mayonnaise jar (clean, washed) and put it on its side. Put a row of Vaseline (heavy) around the rim like 1 inch inside. Put a piece of bread or something inside the jar. The roaches will go inside the jar and not be able to move. I have heard Borax works well also.

One roach usually means a hundred hidden somewhere.
I agree - fogger is the best idea. Or pay $75 or so and have the pro's come and do it and guarantee success. We fogged three times and that stuff is NOT GOOD for people either! And I sprayed a poison along every door sill and window sill. it was a wonder that we did not come up with warts or something! But we had success after a time.
