i have chinese cabbage,romaine lettuce ,& broclic planted & i usuallay plant my radishes in early spring but i'd like to have some garden fresh radishes for the fall.

have just been given a brand new gas cooker,do I need to call in a gas fitter, or can we just disconnect one stove and connect the new one ourselves?

Which is most harmful to the environment - using my gas central heating or lighting a log fire with logs from trees that have fallen due to high winds etc (as opposed to cutting them down)

living in this age knowing that the forest are depleting, why are we still using wood to built our houses? We have tons and tons of metals from recycled materials that works just as good or even better to support houses.

I know that wood may be cheaper than metals, but isn't there anything that can be done about it?

I've looked at Target- no dice, Walmart doesn't have any patterns I like. I've tried Meijer's and Sears- nothing. Any other ideas on where to buy Corelle in-store? I've tried using their online locator and it doesn't work... thanks!

I bought a single bed for my daughter from Argos and the springs are coming through the matress. I only puchased the bed 11 months ago. Does anyone know if the bed has a 12 months guarentee

We just bought our house from my grandparents in February, and the other neighbor moved in 4 months later. One day we came home and he had a bobcat at his house to pull up his driveway (ours are joint) and gave us no notice. From there, has told us he is putting in a driveway even though his driveway is not made wide enough for that, ours is, which means he was pulling down the fence in between our driveways (He told us this would happen in October and would warn us) then we came home yesterday and the fence was down! Also it was a shared cost fence though he is keeping it for himself. Now I came home today and he is building the garage and has cut down some of my tree branches that overhang into his yard (I love my trees by the way) We have NEVER yelled or really said ANYTHING at all. Is it rude or inconsiderate of us to put up a fence 3 inches onto our side of the property - giving him some of our driveway - without telling him considering how much he courtesy/warning he has given us

How many bulbs can you run on one ballast can you run more than one bulb on the same ballast or do you need one ballast per bulb.

400w bulb 400w ballast "Quad Tap HPS CWA Ballast" 120v

I want to run 3 bulbs so do I need 3 ballast or can I run them all on one.

My garden is pretty small, and as I live in a big city, I'm pretty protective of it. The neighrhood cats seem to think my gravel path and flowerbeds are a litter box. How can I keep them from making this mistake, and is there a way to do without harmful chemicals? I have an herb garden right next to my rose beds, and I'd like to be as green as possible as we use the herbs regularly. Cheers!

The bin is bottomless and it was place on the ground but the rats burrowed a hole underneath and got in. When I place it on a concrete surface it is very light in weight and the rats could easily lift the edge

in wooden insense (or oud) u get this thing that blows air ..
u can use it for giving air to a fire too..
it has like.. a accordian type ending and u push it and a spout on the other end where the air comes out of.. what is it called?
i duno if i explained well but im trying..

u push it from one side.. and the air comes out of the other...
