i have no idea how to start growing veg,i am a complete novice at gardening and all the books i read have lots of terminology i dont understand.i would love to volunteer in an organic allottment but dont know how to go about it.i live in wrexham,north wales,any ideas would be appreciated.

Organic means no chemicals are used. Learn about organic fertilizers. Watering and weeding are all you really have to do. Vegies pretty much grow themselves.

I live in the tropics so i dont have any idea about the climate over there however the best thing you couldo is to observe how farmers in you place grow veg try also asking them. It is better than reading those tech books try it

When you volunteer, do not be afraid to ask lots of questions. We all learn by doing the work. You are going to love gardening.
