If they are black, we call them dirt daubers. They don't bother you like wasps. If one gets in my house I trap it and release it back outside.

just take it down with a hose it is a nest made of clay and soil. some kind of flying insects I don't know the name but it happens frequently in my area, I live in Central Florida by a lake.
