Is cheap stainless steel flatware more likely to be contaminated with lead or other?

I purchased some inexpensive stainless made in China and I am worried that it could have lead in it or some other potentially dangerous impurity.

lead is not a component in any steel and steel would not leach any of its alloys Imagine something china can't f... up.

I don't think you could get lead into stainless steel even if you made a special effort.

Today's worry is those cancer beads that some people put in their mouth and that are confirmed to contain lead. Sweat that instead.
