Worried?? If my husband was building a swimming pool in my garden I'd be terrified. I'd have visions of the entire neighbourhood going under water and then that would attract the birds.

It seems to be an extravagant project just to attract birds I think. Are you sure there isn't an alternative motive.

If I want to attract birds into my garden I put food out for them, I plant trees, have a bird bath and a bird table. I must admit I've never thought about building a swimming pool!

If the backwash is coming from the pool, then provided that the chlorene is at an outstanding low point (below it may be as a pool) can a blanket, no it won't harm your flowers, because of the fact it wall distinctly much easily harm some flowers. you would be able to desire to examine and notice how lots harm has been finished and attempt taking some buckets of water and checking on aspects of your backyard and chosen flowers you preserve song of. you will possibly be distinctly much specific that the flowers at the instant are not contaminated (in the event that they do now not die) because of the fact the chlorine content cloth is going to be worn out distinctly much as we talk. in case you're chlorinating with salts rather than pool marvel (HCl) or equivalent, the different 0.5 of the salt would desire to be a concern to assessment on.

Hardly worth worrying about, they are much worst things such as Microorganisms that start to live in out door swimming pools after a month, We stepped into outdoor Jacuzzi at a party once and had tiny worms swimming up our 'bits'.
Took months to recover.
so don't worry about birds they'll probably do u a favour...
