Worried?? If my husband was building a swimming pool in my garden I'd be terrified. I'd have visions of the entire neighbourhood going under water and then that would attract the birds.
It seems to be an extravagant project just to attract birds I think. Are you sure there isn't an alternative motive.
If I want to attract birds into my garden I put food out for them, I plant trees, have a bird bath and a bird table. I must admit I've never thought about building a swimming pool!

Hardly worth worrying about, they are much worst things such as Microorganisms that start to live in out door swimming pools after a month, We stepped into outdoor Jacuzzi at a party once and had tiny worms swimming up our 'bits'.

why should you be worried about extra birds in the garden?..have never seen a flock of gulls around a pool ..besides birds are not daft ..they will not drink water that is full of chemicals like your average pool ..so relaaaaaaaaaax
