i live in A student house of 6 and over xmas several pans have gone missing leaving only a few between six. every time i have a meal i wash up everything i use however no one else does and we get a load of washing up on the kitchen top and our cleaner has refused to clean it until they're removed. the others had a go because i didnt clean them up although i did help take the bin out and clear rubbish away. Am i right to refuse to clean pots or not?

I am just learning to sew with a machine my aunt gave me. She gave me the needle for denim but I don't remember if there is a specific thread to use... Any helpful hints for a beginner would be great! Thanks! PS I'm not a child I am a 38 year old mother...not that it makes any difference I guess, I'm still a beginner! Thanks for your help!

I just moved into an older country home with those "wood panel" walls, my main concern is the livingroom because I am from the city and my decor resembles something you would see in a Pier One Imports catalog (earthtones), pretty modern and high style looking ~ NOT COUNTRY at all.

What can I do to mask these walls or how to enjoy them and what would you suggest to make these walls liveable?

I don't trust ads for Ionic filters, like the ones advertised by Sharper Image, but I would like to get one, if they actually work. Any information as to their reliability, the truth of the claims, and/or better filters would be appreciated. Mostly, I'm looking for something where I don't have to keep buying and replacing filters.

Received a set of Tabletop Unlimited Cookware for Christmas, always use plastic utensils on it, now it is showing signs of scratches! What kind of cookware, preferably non-stick, do you have and what would you recommend. Cook everyday and need durability plus ease of clean up. Don't want to spend a fortune.

the problem we have is that the smell from the floors is horrible and absolutely overwhelming, to the point of actual vomiting. Does anyone know of anything that we could use/do (apart from moving home) to resolve this?
