When I had a gas stove, I would spray the top with water, let it soak for a while. Then when the dishes were done, I could easily clean the stovetop. If I do that with an electric stove, will it damage the electric elements?

When we cook (VERY aromatic curries), we hv to hide our coats/bags in our rooms and shut the doors and the smell still manages to get in. We have resorted to wearing our rattiest clothes to avoid embedding the smell in our "good" clothes. When we step out, we smell like curry munchers.
We've tried scented candles, air freshners and all of that. What works??

Hi everyone! I've got ants in my kitchen and they are really hard to get rid of! I've tried 'Ant Rid' in the past, but no luck! Is it just a matter of cleaning all surfaces really well, so there's nothing for them to eat?

In my kitchen I have an ant problem and believe it or not, even the exterminator cannot get rid of them. I don't want to fumigate the house for fear that won't even get rid of them. Is there another proven way that I can rid my kitchen of these ants once and for all. Any possible natural methods. We keep the kitchen clean yet the ants seem to always make their appearance. Help!!

What I mean by that is...can i just take part of a plant and put it directly in water...and can I take a part of a plant and put it directly in soil. Of course the one that I am putting in soil I will add water to. But do you know any plants that can grow that way...but cutting off pieces of them and growing them???
Thanks so much!

My family and I started using this brand new trash container about 2 1/2 ago. I remember the first time I used it I thought, "Man, this makes sense." Finding out I was patentable is another story, Well, after using this trash container for 2 1/2 years, we have seemed to forgotten the difficulties of using a contemporary trash container. Please give this some thought. First of all, have you ever had a hard time holding the container to the floor as you are removing the trash bag, even if you're not disabled this proves to be difficult at times. What's the cause of that problem? 2nd problem, we all know that they sometimes smell like trash. Third, are these problems worth fixing, 4th If you could! Would Making it E-Z make scents?
