I know some people that would turn their backs if they saw a centimeter of asbestos in a home for sale. Whats the big deal? I think the installed products are best left alone, and would release more fibers if you remove them.

My wife and I are helping out a young boy that was injured in a farm accident. He enjoys the outdoors so our goal is to create a sustainable wildlife area for him to enjoy on his parents property. The types of trees we are looking for are mostly fast growing. Examples; poplar, silver maple, white oak, douglas fir, honey locust, sweet sumac, hazelnut, mountain ash or others that would benifit wildlife. We live in Manitowoc County, WI. Can anybody help us out?

I found an old elongated pot that i wanted to take up to school with me to create a little herb garden in my window sill. When i found it on my back porch there was already soil in it that was saturated, and has mold growing on it. Would it be ok to just let it dry out for a week or so, or should i just go right ahead and buy more potting soil?

I'm a big Do-It-Yourselfer and am in the market for some new cordless power tools. I've always trusted Dewalt tools, but have read a bunch of reviews lately and it seems as though their products might have dropped in quality. Has anyone had an experience with the recent Dewalt products? Also, are there any other brands you would recommend?

does it burn more oil to turn your thermostat down low at night, like 62 and keep it that way till morning then turn it up when you get up to about 70?
or keeping it at 70 all night?
I know it sounds stupid, but the furnace has to run longer to get it warmer in the morning, if I turn it down, as to, if I let it alone (common sence)
It's just that it gets way too warm in my upstairs, and i can't afford to have things switched over to 'zone' heating.

Any answers would be appreciated.

I've looked at Wal-Mart, Target, Michael's and Jo-Anne's with no luck. Amazon has them in cases, but I only need 1 jar. Does anyone know of another store that carries them? (I'm in the San Diego area). Thanks!
