Realize that while the distance between the grill and the burners remains constant, heat rises and when the grill is crooked, the heat tends to rise straight upward not at an angle. This will create more heat in an oven-like fashion at the high side of the grill, and less at the lower side. You can either level the grill, or rotate your food on the grates more frequently to equalize cooking time. Good Luck.
