I have to say that my neighborhood has to be THE safest neighborhood in the whole US of A ! We very rarely even lock our doors at night and there has been times I left the keys in my car over night and the car was still there the next day!! I ain't sure why this is but I sure ain't complaining!!

My subdivision is very safe to walk around in, but when you get to the road that leads to our canyon, you have to be very careful. We are on a blind corner and cars really zoom down the hill. The only thing you have to watch out for walking in the dark in our neighborhood is the wildlife, we live near a nature preserve that has no fences. There are coyotes, mountain lions and bobcats that occasionally stroll through the 'hood.

it's not the people you have to worry about in my neighborhood, it 's the people in the vehicles. I live in the middle of the downward side of a hill. The cars fly down off the hill like 50-60 mph, even though the posted speed limit is 35.
live right outside of the borough, and it's state 'territory' they won't come and police us, not important enough.
Neighbor's garage got taken out twice before I moved into my house.
People wise, nice friendly neighborhood.

Mine is a lot better now than it used to be. I used to have neighbors that were always in trouble with the law and constantly had the police over. We had some that were drug dealers and always had people over all times of the day and night and some even carried guns which at one time they got into a fight and someone actually pulled theirs out! Luckily, those people went to jail for something and now we have some ok neighbors in there now.

Mine is safe. I feel safer now that our neighborhood has established a neighborhood watch program, too.
