I shred old letters, etc. Would it be sensible to put this shreded paper on my garden?
I know that eventually they will rot, down, and get absorbed into the soil. Does this improve the soil, or is it a waste of time?

To me "home" means my castle and kingdom, the place and space that is my refuge. Home makes me feel good, it's a comfortable safe place to be and I have to wonder how many other people feel the same way and btw, your "home" doesn't mean you have to own the building, your castle can be an apartment, condo or any space n place you hang your hat and your heart!

Due to touch down of tornado in New Iberia, LA the whole town razed to ground and two innocent lives are also lost. Had those homes are built with Cement and Steel like rest of the world do there wouldn't have been any loss of lives and property. US claim that it believes in recycling. Yeah we recycle petty things but we build our homes with 100% non-recyclable wood. In our homes every single thing used is non-recyclable and comes from trees the Structure Frame to Roof to Cub Boards in our kitchen. Not only single family homes even multistoried apartment complexes are also built totally using wood. The federal government oversees so many things but conveniently ignores this type of wastage there by allowing the cutting of trees and global warming. The lame excuse we give for this type of wastage is building homes with concrete and steel is very expensive because labor involvement is

Does it have stains? Worn areas? What colour is it? Does it bother you? I know this seems like a weird question, I am asking because I have had carpet for 18 months, cream, and parts of it are stained and parts of it are worn and some bits look different to other bits and it is seriously stressingme out! I cant afford to replace it and everyday I have to look at it. Why am I getting so stressed over floor coverings?

I've lived in 2 different apartment buildings, and mice in the first one made me move out. The building I live in now is taken care of much better, but I had a mouse in here too! I've been living in the building for a year and never really noticed it before. My apartment is sorta messy, but that shouldn't attract them, just give them more places to hide, right? Also, in this building, and the last one, there are 3 floors with about 45 apartments total, with the basement serving as the garage (garbage recepticles are kept in the garage as well). We have the radiators that are along the floor... Are apartments like this just prone to mice? I know that I didn't have one stow away in my stuff when I moved either because I went through all of my stuff when I packed it too. Can anyone offer me any help or suggestions? Knowing that there's a mouse somewhere even in this buiding just gives me the creeps!

I was told that there is a spray that will make suede resistant to water and stains, but I can't find nearly anything online about it. What brand should I use? Where should I get it? How much should I expect to pay? This is for a suede jacket. Thanks!
