I was told that there is a spray that will make suede resistant to water and stains, but I can't find nearly anything online about it. What brand should I use? Where should I get it? How much should I expect to pay? This is for a suede jacket. Thanks!

Scotch Guard by 3M. Relatively inexpensive. Used it on my suede boots 3 years ago and they still look like new!

Buy several cans, spray many coats, allowing time for each coat to dry in between.
