My husband and I live in an older house that has brick in my kitchen..from the sink to behind the stove. We are having a terrible problem with sugar ants and have tried everything to get rid of them, including having an exterminator come TWICE, they might be gone for a few weeks, then show up again. We have tried every bug spray and ant killer on the market, but just cant get rid of them, any suggestions? They are driving me crazy!!!!

I love taking baths to relax, but the tub in my house is not the most comfortable and I can't afford a new one right now. I'm looking for a table to go over my lap so I can read in the tub, and a cushion to make it more comfortable to lay down in (right now I use towels but I can never get them just right).

I have just purchased a Bestway comfort quest air mattress, which says easy inflate on the box but no instructions on how to inflate, there is a valve with a small thin rubber wire type through the hole in the valve. Is this anything to do with inflating it?

Filter of the highest quality that cleans out ALL of the potentially hazardous chemicals and particles found in raw faucet water. I want to drink the water without worrying that I might get cancer in 10 years.

So once again, the highest quality water filter that is available on the market, preferably with a fixed filter (so one doesn't have to change it all the time).

Thanks a lot!

The little geezer knows what mouse traps are for, and I'm looking for something more devious. I use peanut butter for bait, and I've tried glueing a sunflower seed to the trigger. That didn't work--the mouse ate the seed! I can't use poison, my dog would get into it, no doubt about it. The idea of using sticky trap paper gives me the chills. Any other ideas? If I knew that the mouse was alone, it wouldn't be so bad...but chances are, there are more than one!

I had a few ants and sprayed them with Axe body spray. The next day they came back in the millions and looks like they are circleing the Axe body like some kind of fertility god. I introduced some different ants and they bred with them instead of fighting. Everytime I pick up the can they swarm at me.

I don't see it very much as it actually lives at my parents house, I just give it a bit of water every now and then but a couple of months ago it went really floppy. I gave it water but it hasn't perked up. It has also recently grown four new baby cacti from its base and I don't know if it is just dying so the baby ones can grow. I don't know what to do, please help!

We just purchased a really nice dinner table set and it is always covered with a vinyl tablecloth because I have kids and I don't want it to get ruined. Well I am having some people over and don't want the beauty of it to be hidden. Since the kids will be asleep by then I would like it to be uncovered, the only thing is that I am serving cocktails and appetizers and don't want the table to get ruined from heat and stains. What affordable options do I have besides placemats, since it is not a sit down dinner? A runner? Potholders (i don't know what they are called but they protect the table from hot dishes)?

People on here have said that they pay 30-50$ a week for a maid.
I wanted to know where they got the maid, and what she does?
Does she do dishes and laundry? Kitty litter?
Is it through a service like merry maids, or other?

Some vandals broke 3 of our double glazed windows - toughened too! Does anyone know of a plastic film or similar that can be applied to make it extremely difficult to break? I know there are those that stop it from breaking in to a million pieces but i'm more interested in knowing if there is one that stops it breaking completely?
