I am not a contractor, but it has been my experience that any product made for a mobile home is of different quality than that made for non-mobile homes.
I would ask a contractor or if you are comfortable with these things, check the "ingredients" of the vinyl at both places, do some research on what a quality siding should contain, and go from there. The sizes might be different also.
I lived in a mobile home for eight years. It was hard to find decent parts when repairs needed to be made. Nothing at the local hardware supplier fit the mobile home and the mobile home store products were shoddy and cheap.

Yes, it is used for the soffit of a house and the skirting of a mobile home. I'd compare the prices and go with the cheaper of the two. You also need J molding.

yes, it is the same. Except for the price. For mobile homes they will tell you it is different to get you to pay their very high price for it. An average price for siding is anywhere from 45.00 to 65.00 a square.

its usually the same size as regular siding but is a cheaper quality. breaks easier, is thinner, fades in the sun
