Yes I have and couldn't wait for the time to pass so I could get my derriere right back out of there.
Hope that you don't have to stay long and are able to re-sell or rent elsewhere.
If you must stay awhile, fix up the bare necessities to re-sell at a profit, ignore your neighbours, and then get out of there.

Im afraid so. We have moved many times, but one house that we bought not only had lots of structural faults not picked up in the survey, but was also situated next door but one to a drug dealer. We only found this out after completing and moving in. After many problems, including finding my back garden swarming with police, they had gone to the back of the properties and miscounted, and were about to but down our door to raid us, we decided to sell up. We were in the property for exactly 1 year. 1 year too long. But neighbours just being generally horrible can happen anywhere. We usually find any house has a mix of lovely friendly neighbours and grumpy moaning neighbours. I usually call them people haters! Give yourself several months before making a decision. Good luck.

Yes moved into a 4 year old house, previous owner left it stinking. Grease and grim all over kitchen had to fit new, french doors that would not close when opened, drainage not connected up to sewers. It has been a nightmare so much so we are looking for a new house after 4 months.

Solicitor's never helped she said you saw it and purchased it.

Buyer beware. Guess you have learnt a lesson. Best to get on with your life and either make the most of what you have bought or sell up and move on.
