I'm in San Diego where we recently experienced a "cold snap" (cold for SD is 40-50 degree highs). The apt. I'm in has electric base board heat but since I've never really had to use it I didn't realize how inefficient it is at heating! I had to go buy electric space heaters to keep warm-and most stores were sold out of them!

I'm in Pamplona, Spain and we have had a cold snap for two weeks now. 24º to 36º. We have 2 Taurus upright Fan/Heaters
2200 Watts. (15" x 18"). We never need the fan part (which is not supposed to be used when the heater is on). It has a thermostat and illuminated on/off switch. It runs silent and doesn't appear to get very hot however it does keep the living room (16' x 28') warm and a smaller bed room (22' x 22') almost hot both with the thermostats set halfway.
Good Luck ! !
