You're not only kind but environmentally friendly, frogs it seems are becoming quite rare world wide. Try contacting a local university, I'll bet they'd love to know what you are doing right. Another idea would be to mobilize the neighborhood kids to relocate them. Consider however the consequences of their removal, first and foremost being the plant eating, people biting insects they consume and second the beautiful music they make!

You must have water near by that is the breeding ground for the frogs. Find the source and catch them with a fishing net when they are tadpoles. Put them in a jar along with some water from the source and take them to another location and put them back in the water. Also frogs love damp areas. If you put down a lot of straw or dry mulch they will leave.

amphibians are a great indication that your garden is healthy and not laden with chemicals. Leave them, they don't hurt your plants and eat lots of bugs.

You say you want a natural remedy and yet you have been given a very natural pest contriol system that you now want to get rid of

Think about it.

Why are they there? Plenty of food is one reason. What are they eating? When you take them away thier food will probably overtake your garden and what if that is worse than the frogs?

I would leave them

I have heard that moth balls will keep animals out of flower pots and beds--don't know about frogs--but it might be worth a try. Just scatter them in your garden. Good Luck

Are they frogs or toads?

If they are toads it means that you have a lot of slugs around, They eat slugs. When the slug population drops, so won't the toad population

lure them with bait, and then catch them, put them into a cage, and then later free them at a nearby pond or lake. If you can't find one, there usually are some bodies of water near golf courses.
