I'm moving to a new place and I'll be renting a room in a house and I want to be able to hang things like some nice pictures or a big mirror without having to make any holes in the wall so I don' have to fix the holes in the wall before I decide to move out. I don't want to live in a boring white room so I need suggestion on how to hang things without the holes in the wall, I've never hung anything without making a hole in the wall and I want to know if there's an easy way to do that without damaging the house walls?

My shower pump is overheating and keeps stopping, so I guess I need a new one. But which one? The trouble with the old one was that because the shower head was less than a metre below the bottom of the cold water tank in the loft, we had to unhook the shower head and lower it briefly to start the pump working. So my question is which bar pressure shower pump do I need to get to cope with this initial lack of pressure? Would really appreciate your help here.

It's rusted in places. What kind of black paint can I use that can take high temperatures and not contaminate the food I'm cooking?

The pan is an antique Griswold which is worth saving.

I installed watts connectors with Zurn Flex pipe, equipment operating / working fine for more than 3 weeks with 32 lbs of water pressure no leaks. The installation is in a new detached RV garage building with a restroom. I called my city building inspector and he asked to see the installers certification for the Flex pipe. I am a home Owner/Builder.I installed everything and have 10 years experience in copper/metal pipe but I am not a licensed plumber I just do alot of work on personal property, where does a Home Owner-Builder get certificate to install flex pipe( Zurn brand name ) and does a Home Owner ever need to be certificate because of liability installation to their own property

My house is for sale and I need to spruce up my front door area, on the outside. There's a little bit of rotted molding around the door... not much, just a few little spots. And also, we used to have an overhang above the door but it came off during a windstorm last summer. You can still see the change in color on the house where the overhang used to be. It's a triangle shape about 3x2x2 feet.

I've been wating since October for my husband to fix these 2 problem areas but he hasn't done it so my mom and I are going to do it.

Any quick and easy suggestions would be VERY helpful!

I am buying a condo, and the foor is supported by wooden I beams. The beams are slightly twisted. Is this a big deal? I can still back out of the deal, but I don't want to. What should I do?

I suspected it might be the blower motor but it is well oiled and turns freely.
There is also a lot of vibration that can be felt while it is running - could it be loose (metal) parts rubbing together?

I am going to put a fence nearer or better said ,next too to an exiting house. Is the spacing going to force the issue pointlessly or will it in itself adjust the proper spacing?

The type of fence is a typical chain link-6 foot high and up to code.

I recently had the fiberglass bathtub in my bathroom reglazed. While glazing, the contractor also seemed to get some of the glazing material all over my tiled bathroom floor. Now the floor feels gritty and always looks dirty. How can I remove this grit without damaging the tile? Thanks!

My architect choose Nutone for our house b/c it looks clean white and it's venting through the side. But people are telling me that Panasonic is the best one in market.

Pricewise they are about the same and you can get them cheap at wwww.westsidewholesales.com And if you are in L.A. area, you can do the store pick up.

Panasonia Whisper 110CFM $98
Nutone 110CFM $107

Thank you for your opinions!

Great 3 bedroom ranch, attached garage, backs up to woods, quiet neighborhood. House is $20 - $40,000 LESS than others in the neighborhood. Interior rooms in back portion of house have gone off plumb 1" - 2". I'm close to 50, not a do-it-yourselfer... can I just live in it and if I hit the lottery, build a basement under it?

We are contemplating tearing out the entire roof (it's a flat tar and gravel right now) and putting in a new roof with pitches and a different roof line. We'll probably use an average style of roof shingles as the covering. Does anyone know what would be a good estimate of the total labor and materials cost for doing this assuming we had a licensed contractor do the work? The house is around 1,600 square feet on a 5,500 square foot lot.
Thanks!
