it's more of a silly question, the fridge is already functional. I just can't seem to find where the tube enters the door of the fridge from the main part of the fridge.

There has to be a small tube in one of the door's on the hinge side. You probably cannot see it b/c of the gasket. How else?

Most people make a hole through the floor to the basement or make the connection from the kitchen sink water supply. Most hardware stores and appliance stores sell water supply kits for refridgerator hook-ups.

It runs from the valve on the back of the refrigerator, under neath the unit, and runs through the hinge on the freezer door, up through the liner of the door to the dispenser.

The easiest way is a water pipe clamp that attaches to a water pipe somewhere in the house this attaches to a hose on the refrigerator from beneath.
