A strange object about the size of a corn cob came out of the toilet and onto the floor. What could it be? It seems to be wrapped in some sort of white linen material? Should I call the health department or animal control?

We just pulled tongue & groove cedar, that was glued to painted drywall, off and the walls are damaged where the glue was. There is a lot to repair, lots of spots with paint & texture gone, some spots where drywall is showing, Paper is peeling. Do I have to fill each damaged spot with some kind of filler before I use venetian plaster? Or can I just fill these spots with the venetian plaster?

I am about to rip out my old coal fired Rayburn (AGA), which vents directly into the chimney of my house, and replace it with a modern electric cooker. I want to fit an extractor hood above my new cooker but it will be a long way from any outside walls - can I hook up the extractor fab to my chimney?

Thanks/

My toilet seems to not have enough water to flush down its content.
You can tell there is less water in the bowl than what it used to have.
You might need to flush twice sometimes.
When it flushes, it has enough power but not enough water.
How can I solve this?

I have a grill that I would love to use again. Unfortunatly after sitting for the winter the grates are all rusted up. I tried to find replacement grates but no one seems to have the size I need. Is there any way to clean the rust off of the ones I already have?

My combi boiler loses pressure daily and has to be re-pressurised. Does this mean I have a leak? Could it be down to some boiler component failing? Should I be taking up the floorboards and checking the pipes for leaks as there is no sign of a leak from the boiler?

I had roots in my lines and the water backed up. Sewage came out of this pipe sticking out of my yard. It is unfortunately right off the back door and my kids filled it with dirt and rocks one day. IS this going to cause problems in the lines? I don't even know where the pipe leads to. I'm new to septic tanks.

I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about - on the end of a soap dispenser (the pump kind), as well as with makeup, lotion, and other products, there is sometimes a good bit of crusty, dried product that can clog the nozzle or not work on the skin. What can I do to prevent this from happening?
