Here's the situation>> I have a wierd breaker system for one. There is an outside breaker bow in which feeds to my other breaker box. The outside one has a 90amp breaker in it which is the one that flips like every day. The main breaker bow in which is inside my house is a 200amp system which has many different breakers in it which feeds different parts of my house. None of the breakers in my main box has ever triped neither has the main 200amp cut off. BUTTTTT the 90amp that is located right outside next to my meter cuts off like every day. I have replaced it which another used one which I am unsure if its any good either and it lasted for a good 3 months and now we're back to the same old crap.
HERE's a diagram of my situation..

Meter Box>>>
90amp breaker box (The flipper that is outside)>>
Main 200amp breaker box>>

The 90 amp breaker will trip when I have all my appliances running (washer, dryer, dishwasher)
Please help!! Thanks..

Is there a solution to this problem? I have been advised to add 3/4" plywood diaphragm down the center spans of the three joist bays and this will solve the problem. When the home was built by "Toll Bros" 19 yrs ago they attached 3/4 inch plywood along the side of the joists to firm them up when I complained of the bounce. This stiffened the floors slightly at the time. Seems to be no cure for the 24 inch space

SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE- My home is brick. I had an issue with mold in the bathroom when I first bought it and fixed that by installing a bathroom fan. Now, I noticed my living room closet has mold in it too. The closet is at the front corner of the house by the door and two walls of the closet are "outside" walls. I have someone coming to look at the problem but don't want to get in to unecessary repairs -- anyone know what this could be or a solution?

Our window cleaner is supposed to be painting our house. I paid him £100 up front for the materials and he hasn't turned up yet (it's 12.45pm and the sun is shining).
On a scale of 1 to 10, how stupid am I?

while it is dry I have gotten 3 estimates to get rid of the problem, 2 of them are very expensive, but guarantee no water infiltration. the other that is affordable guarantees no water infiltration through my front basement wall which is the one that is completely underground. I need a way to find out if water is coming through the other 3 walls. I live on a hill and the front wall is the highest point, the rear wall is almost a walk out, with less than 1 foot of wall below grade, the 2 side walls slope in grade between the front and rear. is there something I can spray on the wall that will show me if water is flowing through there?

We've open the machine, cannot find where the filter is. It appears to go through the cycle.

Usually around 00:30 a really strong stink of fish enters our house.
but it's mainly just in one area of the house.
it's been downstairs in our living room, our dining room, a bedroom and the halls.
it drives my mum CRAZY.

we not long had our whole house decorated, re-done the electric, new kitchen all because our hall smelt a bit old and damp.
so you can imagin what she's like now only just spending thousands of pounds on getting rid of a smell.

(could it be the fact that one of the builders messed something up?)

please help us. we want to know what it is and why it comes.
thanks.

I have heard if you spray buff or have a mixture of water and wax and spray it on that it will make the wax build up and be uneven but i want to know with just straight water if it will do anything harmful to the wax. Is it more aggressive with water and take off too much wax. I am only supposed to strip and wax once a year so will it eventually wear down to bare tile before the year is up? I buff 5 nights a week on this floor. Also i use a battery opperated buffer and it has a stress gauge on the pad so you know where to set the pad pressure and when i tried this spraying water the stress gauge went up but did not hit its limit. Please let me know what you have personally experienced or what you have been told or taught. Thanks

I moved into a flat in Beijing about 5 months ago and in the bedroom there was a telephone socket hanging off the wall, I assumed it was useless so I snipped the wires and then stuffed them back in and sealed up the socket. I then realised that the main telephone line came into the apartment through this line. I have managed to put some of the wires back together which has given me access to the internet again, but the landline telephone will still not work no matter where I connect it. Do the internet and the telephone run on separate lines and am I going to need an engineer to come and repair the line? Or can anyone give me some hints as to how to repair? There are eight wires in each cable, an orange/hatched orange, blue/h blue, brown/ h brown and green/ h green. There are also two white wires which I assume carry the power.

I hear a loud gurgling sound coming from the toilet. It does this often but not all the time. It has been suggested that it's probably a vent problem, but the vents seem to be clear, both of them, the one that comes out of the bathroom and the one that comes out of the kitchen. I am puzzeled to why it is doing this.

We have recently moved into a house in Australia with a tin roof. There is a layer of 5cm batts on the rafters in the roof space, but the temp is 10-15 degrees C higher up there than in the house (with all the windows and doors open). I don't want to get air-conditioning, is there another way to insulate the roof and cool the house?

I usually shave my head in the shower. I let my hair grow out quite a bit and I hated it. It was too hot and too much trouble to deal with so shaved my head with a hair shaver. Most of the time it works, because there is not enough hair going down the drain to matter. This time, however, there was enough to clog it. It's not totally clogged, but drains really, really slowly and backs up a little when it finishs draining. Is it safe to use Liquid Plumer or something similar to that to unclog my drain if I have a septic tank?

Rental: Oversized water heater, and finally set it down to minimum. What did that cost me monthly? What if I put in a manual switch to turn on an hour before showers?

Our house is from 1978 with Galvanized Pipes / maybe some might be iron pipe under the house but I'm not sure, its all insulated and hardly any clearance. I don't think any of the previous owners ever flushed the lines or drained the water heater in the past. My old water heater (30 gallon) was so bad it only gave me 6 minutes of hot water. It's since been replaced with a new 30 gallon and the tub works great. I replaced all the pipes i can without going under the house.

Is there anything to fix the clogged lines, the bathroom sink Hot is clogged and the Hot & Cold in the kitchen are clogged. I've had people tell me to backflush it with air from the sink but im not sure of the exact procedure. Just looking for more ideas, maybe there is something special wire to run in the pipes to clean them out?

The toilet is only two years old, and our other toilet (which is 10 years old) has no musty odor and is fine.I can smell the odor immediately on entering the bathroom, I know mustiness is a sign of moisture or a leak and I sniffed around the base of the toilet, and other areas in the bathroom and it only seems to be coming from the toilet tank in back. I can't figure out why just the toilet tank smells. Any suggestions?
