Replaced belts last year. When I pick up drive wheels, they move However, given any resistance, no movement. Chomps out snow like a champ. Please help! 4 ft drifts. Thanks

Are they the correct size belts for the machine? If so, check the idler pulley (the part that moves when you engage the drive lever) for an adjustment, and take up some slack in the belt. I'm assuming it moves, as well as throws via belt.
Otherwise, remove the plate on the underside of the drive wheels and check to see if the drive disk is engaging (the set-screws in those were notorious for loosening).

if it's a Sears Craftsman the store will take it back and give you another one.
