My tomato plant is like two and a half feet high and is overshadowing one of my three limited-space gardens. I didn't realise how bushy certain types get (since my other ones are so small). Will it kill the plant if I remove it from the first garden and put it into a second one where it will give the other plants some breathing room?

My gardener suggested applying gypsum to the soil. He said it will help break down some of the clay. He said we can mix it into the garden soil with added organic materials and since we can't turn over the lawn, he said he can spread the gypsum on top and let the sprinklers water it into the soil. does this make sense to anyone?

Ya know, those ones they use in beta fish tanks? Well, I have one in a little ceramic pot with nothing but rocks and marbles. But I was constantly forgetting to water it, so I put it by my bathroom sink so everytime I went in there I would see it and remember to care for it. Then, about a few weeks ago I noticed it was starting to get HUGE. It used to just be three little stems, and now each stem has atleats 15 leaves on it. I would undertsand if I had like windows or something in my bathroom, but all the light it's getting is from when I'm actually in there. Someone told me it might be because of the humidity from my showers. Is that true?

1. How do you make it grow in a nice long shape? Ours always curl up. Is there any tricks to make it stay straight?
2. 80% of our crop has this bitter taste and we need to get rid of the skin before eating it. What are we doing wrong?

We found a white pigeon with band on its leg....?
I have the numbers, off the band. How can I find out where it came from??? Please help! I have been trying to do a search, on internet, but no luck? Is there a website where you type in the number off the band, & find out it's origin? Serious replies only.

I have found that places like Home Depot or Wal-Mart usually have the best prices, and since I have owned my home (and garden, yeah!) that is where I have been getting my plants and flowers from. But sometimes, I drive by one of those smaller, farmer type stores, and think I should go in just to see what they have, but I'm usually in too much of a hurry to do it. But from what I see from their displays outside, some of their stuff really looks top quality.

Although, with a little Miracle Gro, anything can look pretty good, right? ;-)

I am a new house and lawn owner. I was first dealing with fire ants and mosquitoes and seem to have them under control. I purchased a bag of weed and feed from home depot and sprikled it all around my lawn. I noticed that some areas turned brown and I am worried about that. My neighbors have beautiful lawns and I feel I am ruining their image as well. I turn on the sprinklers 2 to 3 times a day. And oh yes, Im in Houston, Texas. Any advice on products I can use? Or things I can do? Anything?
