At my local nursery i was given a pretty miniature (tea) rose as a gift from the store. It's in lovely condition but the problem is...i have a terrible track record with these particular plants. I need good advice on how to care for this plant and how to keep it alive for longer than a couple of weeks. Also..i would like to know if it's possible to plants it outside and if so ..what kind of conditions would it need to thrive out doors.
So i need advice on it's care for living indoors over this winter, and what it needs to live in the garden if it's possible to plant it out of doors this spring.

I understand blower/vacs don't do the job. Our leaf rake does'nt do a good job on the split shells the squirrels throw down. Anyone have a solution?

I will be transplanting ornamental grass. Will the roots have time "to take" in the 65-70 degree weather we are having?

Hi, I just got a bunch of fan flowers/scaevola . The NC State website says they are annual but I've had luck getting some annuals to come back if we have a mild winter. These are perennials in Florida. Looking for someone with experience in NC area - do these come back after first year? Is it worth planting these at this point? or is there no hope of them coming back next year?

I have a dwarf lemon tree in a large pot on the patio, I kept it watered well this summer, excited to watch the four lemons developing. But now it looks like they are drying up. They are about the size of ping-pong balls.

We have a big beautiful old tree tree in out front yard. But it has either a green moss or mold on the bark from the ground up to about 20 feet up. First can anybody tell me exactly what it is? And second, is there a way to get rid of it without damaging the tree at all?

I am finding mounds of poop (approx the volume of a Hershey's kiss) on my back slate stone walkway. It is happening at night on a 7 foot long stretch off my back deck stairs - it's a section between my house and a raised hot tub, so the area is sort of secluded. I can't find any web sites that identify poop. Someone told my it may be toads (they like dark, moist and damp). The poop only occurs along the 2 inches of moss I have planted between the rocks. The poop mounds are made up of tiny spheres of poop - all dark brown. I have set up video survellience, but the light keeps the perps away. Has anyone else had this problem?????? I can't "dry out" the area - there aren't any plants and I obviously can't move the tub or house.
Thank you
