Not allowed to kill them - state law. Won't trap them and release them far away; a friend tried that, but gave up after two years, as they seemed to return - and bring "friends" with them. Help!

Most people grow roses from clipings, and this seems to work well, but I have had NO luck with it, but what about from seed? The hip of a rose has seeds, will these grow fast at all, or even grow? And how well? Is there a difference?? How do I go about planting them, a green house for starters, right?....Okay, so as you see I know nothing about growing roses from seed, I need help!!

I have a drain easement behind my property and Meyer-Sutton (builders) state they are not allow to remove the vegetation because of the ordinances, however, half of my yard is sodded but not the half they say there's an ordinance against. They have left a mound of dirt (left my the construction workers) on my property and I believe that they just refuse to remove the vegatation. Also they has filled the flower bed in the front of my house with sand and claims that its best for plants to grow in. But until I removed the sand & put soil in everything they planted died within a month or so. My understanding is that Bermuda grass works well with sand but not plants. They claims that their not responsible for landscaping and it's my responsibility to maintain the landscape. How can I maintain something that has not been properly started and impossible to maintain? If anyone has any answer to the buffer question or the planting question please respond.

I live in a small subdivision where the yards are small. I have a privacy fence all around my yard except on one side where it is only about 3 feet wide of garden, the fence and then the neighbors driveway. My cucumber plants grow up the fence so some of the leaves and cucumbers are on the other side of the fence. My old neighbors were just happy that I would bring them fresh vegatables, as we do with a few of our neighbors. But now I think the new neighbors are helping themselves to not only our cucumbers but also to our tomatoes and green peppers by hopping the fence when I am at work. I can't see it being anybody else but since I am at work I can't say for fact. I do know for a fact that they are picking the cucumbers. What should I do? Are they entitled to help themselves since the plant is growing on the fence?

My black hollyhocks (3 year old) were over 7 feet tall and beautiful. They are kinda spent right now, had to stake them up and it's time to just cut them. I noticed a dozen new, small leaves at the base of the plant, just like this spring.
I live in NH and it should be warm here until sept. Does anyone know if they will give me a second bloom?
