I picked a beautiful squash that I want to enter in a contest. It will be judged in 10 days. How long will my yellow squash and zucchini last after they have been picked?

Always pick squash before it gets too large and goes to seed, which stops the plant from producing (forever). Summer squash will keep 2 weeks. Certain winter (hard) squashes will last for months.

you should have waited to pick it fresh if you are being judged on it!because fresh ones have a fresh taste and texture!
